Dr Faye Miller, Founding Editor and Director

Faye is a Researcher, Editor, Author and Educator in the areas of human information experience and experience design for knowledge and learning contexts. Over ten years, Faye has been supporting, developing and leading a variety of social research projects within the global higher education sector and collaborating with external clients from public and private sectors.

Faye recently completed a PhD in Information Ecology from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. In 2012, she was a guest speaker at San Jose State University, California. Alongside developing new research projects under a write-up award at Queensland University of Technology, she is currently Knowledge Ecology Strategist for Global Ethnographic, official open access journal of the social enterprise Organization for Intra-Cultural Development based in Japan, USA and Australia. Outside of work, she enjoys performing music, creative writing and travel adventures with her partner.

Will Wells, Marketing Officer

Will is currently studying for his first degree in International Business at Nottingham Trent University, England. Having an interest in entrepreneurial companies, he has links with smaller businesses in the UK and beyond. Originally from England’s Peak District, Will wishes to travel the world both during and after his degree, picking up language andlife skills along the way. Will enjoys playing sports with friends and family, as well as spending time watching live football matches. In addition, he enjoys visiting friends and family in Switzerland whenever possible.

Loïc Gebert, Creative Director/Layout Designer

Loïc has been involved in the graphic design industry since 1994, driven by his passion for entertainment, television, movies, music, design, comics and Japanese artwork. Since graduating from ‘Les Gobelins’ design school in Paris, he worked in advertising design and production in France. Loïc is very skilled in conceptualizing and preparing artwork for concept meetings, story boards, advertisements, catalogs, and many other areas. He is currently a freelance graphic design manager and leader, founding his own concept artwork “Minutes Créatives” www.minutescreatives.com.

Katie Nuttall, Photographer/Illustrator

Katie is currently in her third year of the Bachelor of Media Studies course at Macquarie University, Australia. She graduated from Brigidine College, St Ives in 2011 and has been working in the retail industry for the past two years. During 2013 she worked at the company Media Planet (Australia’s largest shopping centre media network) in Sydney to gain some experience in advertising, working with video tools and Photoshop. She has always loved design and imagery ranging from art, fashion, architecture as well as photography and she hopes to pursue a career in design in the future.

Brooke McDonald, Graphic Designer

Brooke is a recent graduate from the Queensland College of Art (Griffith University) and holds a Bachelor of Design. A long term Brisbane resident her passion for all things art and design emerged at an early age and has since flourished into a unique style that she is beginning to apply in the commercial world. Whilst currently enjoying a variety of projects, from brochure design to supporting important environmental causes, her ultimate ambition would be one where she can marry her graphic arts skills with her passion for alternate music.

Maeve Wood, Writer/Researcher

Maeve is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia. She works as a Marketing Assistant at Monash University where she assists with student events, administration and general marketing relations. Maeve enjoys writing about current events and interesting pop culture ideas. Her love for writing started in high school and she is looking forward to future opportunities to share her work.
